Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Leh
Upon your arrival at Leh airport (arrangements on your own), our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa and explore the vibrant Leh market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 :
Leh (Local Sightseeing)
After a hearty breakfast, set out for local sightseeing along the Leh-Srinagar Highway. Begin your tour with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Indian Army's valor in various conflicts. Continue to the Kali Mata Temple and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, which is believed to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev's visit. Experience the intriguing Magnetic Hill that defies gravity and marvel at the confluence of the holy Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 3 :
Leh to Nubra Valley (125 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way)
After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Nubra Valley, known as the "Valley of Flowers" and the warmest region in Ladakh. The journey takes you via the iconic Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet), considered the world's highest motorable road. Enjoy breathtaking views and then proceed to Nubra. After checking into your hotel, experience the unique thrill of a Camel Safari in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 4 :
Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (130 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way)
Today, follow a less-traveled route as you head towards Pangong Lake via Shyok. The road offers stunning vistas and a peaceful journey. After reaching Khalsar and crossing the Agyam bridge, take the left route leading to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The road might have some rough patches, but the experience is truly rewarding. Continue your drive, and as you approach Pangong Lake, marvel at its breathtaking beauty. A portion of the lake lies in India, while the majority is in Chinese territory. Enjoy exploring the area and keep an eye out for wildlife. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5 :
Pangong Lake to Leh (140 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way)
After a wholesome breakfast, begin your journey back to Leh. Take a short halt at Changla Pass to relish a cup of steaming tea. Continue to visit the impressive Hemis Monastery, the grand Thiksey Monastery, and the historic Shey Palace before returning to Leh. Spend your last evening in Leh at your leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 :
Departure from Leh
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the enchanting Ladakh. Our team will assist you in transferring to Leh Airport for your onward flight. Depart with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Your incredible Ladakh adventure concludes here.
Inclusions
- Assistance on Arrival: Upon your arrival at Leh airport, our team will be there to welcome you and provide any necessary assistance.
- Traditional Welcome: Enjoy a traditional welcome at the hotel, followed by a refreshing drink (Hot Tea / Coffee / Kahwa) upon your arrival.
- Accommodation: Stay in comfortable accommodations on a twin/double sharing basis at the specified hotel or similar category.
- Support Vehicle: A support vehicle will be provided for your transportation from Day 02 to Day 05, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.
- Mechanic: A mechanic will accompany you from Day 03 to Day 05, ensuring the vehicles are in top condition throughout the journey.
- Wildlife and Environmental Fees: All necessary fees for wildlife and environmental conservation are included.
- Inner Line Permit: The inner line permits required for visiting Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake are taken care of for your convenience.
- Oxygen Cylinder: For your safety and well-being, an oxygen cylinder will be provided during your visits to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake.
- Meal Plan (MAPAI): Enjoy a meal plan that includes breakfast and dinner (MAPAI) at all locations, ensuring you have delicious meals to fuel your adventure.
- Airport Transfers & Sightseeing: All airport transfers and sightseeing tours will be conducted using a NON-AC TOYOTA INNOVA/Aria on Day 01 and Day 06. For the days in between (Day 02 to Day 05), you'll have a motorcycle without petrol provided for sightseeing.
Exclusions
- Airfare: The cost of airfare to and from Leh or any other destination is not included.
- Personal Expenses: Any personal expenses, extra meals, starters, and drinks (both alcoholic and aerated) are not covered.
- Motorcycle Damage: Any kind of damage to the motorcycle or the need for a part change during the ride is not included.
- Pick and Drop of Motorcycle: The pick and drop of the motorcycle is not part of the package.
- Optional Tours: Any optional tours you choose to take are not included in the package.
- Tips and Fees: Tips, insurance, laundry, phone calls, guide fees, and camera fees are not covered.
- Leisure Days: Vehicle services on leisure days and after finishing the sightseeing tour are not included.
- Adventure Activities: Costs related to adventure activities such as pony rides, camel safaris, rafting, paragliding, etc., are not part of the package.
- Medical & Travel Insurance: Medical and travel insurance are not included; you may want to consider obtaining them separately.
- Additional Costs: Any additional costs arising due to flight cancellations, roadblocks, or natural events are not covered.
